🍄 living on a dead tree. They are not as colorful as some mushrooms and not as poisonous either.

Funny fact
The nibble as a mosquito repellent
The fluffy tick is also effective if you want to keep the mosquitoes away from the campsite.
Place the tick in the campfire for a few minutes, until it starts to glow. Then take it out of the fire and put it on a stick in the camp. The smoke that develops for several hours keeps the mosquitoes away. A very appreciated trick when sleeping under open skies.
