Good morning, today in this article I will tell you how one of the most important and legendary bands of punk fell.

To start we will see who the sex pistols are and what they contributed, the sex pistols was a punk band created in 1974 by jonny rotten and glenn matlock in london England this was known for its letters of political and social criticism, its riots and its aesthetics that they reflected.

Well now the question that many do, what happened with the sex pistols ?.

It all started in 1977 with his first and only album Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols when sid vicius (bass player at that time) started to go out with a group at that moment, he had problems with drugs and he was in bad situations having problems with jonny rotten (singer and leader), like not attending the rehearsals, a derailed attitude and excess of drugs like heroin and even having legal problems, this he did not like jonny and a year later in 1978 sid is removed from the band and start a solo career, good so far is fine but the problem is that sid begins to have a bad image and that image drags the sex pistols.

On the other hand the members of the sex pistols have a crazy life and have problems with their producer malcom mclaren, drugs, internal conflicts and fame begin to collapse little by little apart from the fact that punk becomes weak when the new one arrives wave of heavy metal or heavy rock and that under the popularity of sex pistols.

In 1979, an event occurred that was the suicide or death of SID VICUS, one of the main figures of the genre and due to this fact and the previous ones the sex pistols fell.

Many say that it was the fault of sid others say that of jhonny and others that were the media but personally I think they were all to blame but without a doubt although they lasted very little the sex pistols left a great legacy and that a great band appreciated that deserves to be remembered forever.
