FL Studio 12: Top 5 VSTs for Synthwave 80s Electronic with Download!
Here's 5 of the most essential VST plugins you will need to make Synthwave music or any type of 80s inspired Electronic Music. If you want to know what i'm talking about you can check this post i made some weeks ago explaining it: https://steemit.com/music/@chillyviking/discover-synthwave-an-introduction-to-modern-80s-inspired-electronic-music
Be sure to follow me @chillyviking to get all my latest tutorials for FL Studio 12, like this one where i give away 2 kick drum samples and explain how to make them sound big: https://steemit.com/steemiteducation/@chillyviking/synthwave-production-1-kicks-and-free-samples
#1 -(Free) Synth 1 by ichiro toda
http://www.kvraudio.com/product/synth1-by-ichiro-toda
Modelled on the Clavia Nord Lead 2 Red Synth, it's a really powerfull synth for being free. Also look around on google for the gold bank, it contains lots of presets that are great for Synthwave
#2 - (Free) SQ8L by Siegfried Kullmann
http://www.buchty.net/ensoniq/index.html#sq8l
Moddeled after the Ensoniq SQ-80, this is the most 80s synth of all that i tried, i usually use it for a fat aggressive bass tone.
#3 - (Free) Dexed
http://asb2m10.github.io/dexed/
Synth that is closely modeled on the Yamaha DX7, pretty complex, has lots of possibilities
#4 - (Free) Korg Monofury
http://www.fullbucket.com/music/monofury.html
Great synth, i usually use just the presets on this one as they are good enough, but you can do some unique things as well with it
#5 - (Paid) Nexus
https://refx.com/nexus/
This one i use the most, it's 249$ for the starter edition + 60$ for the analog FM extension. This synth served me very well and still to this day i love it the most.
If this was helpfull i will appreciate a follow @chillyviking or an upvote!
Thanks!
Hi thanks a lot for this piece of information, it's 1 month now I've been practicing with FL, finally bought the producer version and no regrets whatsoever, still learning but I'm getting my own library and sounds so all goes well until now, check my page as I often tend to talk about the same type of thing :D
