Breaking Music: Kraftwerk Co-Founder Florian Schneider-Esleben Dead at 73
A very sad day for the music world. Kraftwerk founder Florian Schneider-Esleben is dead. According to his record company Sony, the pioneer of electronic music died of cancer a few days after his birthday. He became 73 years old.
In the legendary Kling-Klang-Studio (Düsseldorf, Germany), Florian Schneider-Esleben designed the electronic sound of Kraftwerk which was a great influence for musicians all over the world. Today's electronic pop and techno music seems unthinkable without his influence.

First of all the pre-Kraftwerk project Organisation and a complete concert from the early days of the group recorded for the German TV-Show Rockpalast.
