Hey steemians!! In this special post, I want to discribe About Indian Classical Music.
Indian music has been heard and developed in India since ancient times. This music started earlier than the Vedic period. The original source of this music is considered to be the Vedas. In Hindu tradition, it is believed that Brahma had given music to Narada Muni in music boon.
In the "Music Ratnakar" book by Pandit Sharangdev, the definition of Indian music has been called "Gayatam, Vaideam and dance trum music." Singing, playing instruments and dance; All three arts have been included in the music term. The three are complementary to each other while being independent art. Two types of Indian music are prevalent; First Carnatic music, which is prevalent in southern states and Hindustani music is popular in the rest of India. Music has had great importance in all the civilizations of India. Music has been practiced since ancient times in religious and social traditions. In this form, the music is considered to be the soul of Indian culture. In the Vedic period, spiritual music was called Margi and folk music was called 'Desi'. In the end, it looks as classical and folk music.
In the Vedic period, the mantras of Samaveda were pronounced with the use of seven vowels according to the Vedic eighth or Samagana of that time. According to the Guru-Shishya tradition, the disciple would have received the knowledge of the Vedas only from the guru and they were forbidden from the possibility of any kind of change in them. In this way, due to lack of written form of Vedas and music in ancient times, their original form disappeared.
India music is the famous in the world .
I love it dear.
