RECORDING STUDIES FOR BASIC VIOLONCELLO TECHNIQUE

The purpose of the following project is to show how a student should start a formative process in the study of the cello. Furthermore, I want to show some studies that will be carried out in different positions to accelerate the learning process. The first book consists of 80 studies by the following compositors Schröder, Lee, Dotzauer, Grützmacher, Büchler, and Franchome.

The short-term studies that will be presented in the following videos require only basic skills.

Friedrich Dotzauer

He was one of the most important teachers of cello. He tried to improve the technique of his students. The difficulty of his excersices are aimed at improving the skill of the right and left hand.

Sebastian Lee

The excersices made by him are really simple, and appropiate to the beginners.

Grützmacher

This composer has the most dificult playing pieces, he use all the left and right hand possibilities using agility and articulation.

August Franchomme

These studies are important to develop de different positions of the left hand. The melodies inside the studies are beautifull (second book)
