Herbert Grönemeyer - German singing legend

Herbert Grönemeyer is a pioneer of German and especially German-singing music over here. He is an absolute superstar in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. 2 of his album are in the top 3 of the all-time best selling records in Germany. He also is an actor having played in the famous movie "Das Boot".

Grönemeyer also was the first non-English-speaking artist who was invited (in 1994) by MTV for an unplugged concert. Some of his work below. The first songs I will never forget from my youth are "Männer", "Alkohol" and "Flugzeuge im Bauch".
