No hay que olvidar nuestra cultura/ We must not forget our culture

in #music5 years ago

We must not forget our roots Hello dear community, I hope you are well. Today I do not come to bring you a repertoire of classical music, not because I was tired or something, but because I believe that I have not given enough importance to our Venezuelan music here (besides that I would love that you know it, and if you already they know, even more) Today's video is from Andean Medialuna, a beautiful piece by Cesar Prato, dedicated to our region of Los Andes, specifically from the Táchira State. This piece has the essence of our folklore, the village, the landscapes and the good treatment of the people. It is in a minor tone (I think that makes me love it more) and it is noticed in full bloom. The first time I heard it, I was totally in love, so much so that I decided to make it a kind of "cadence", with the theme of the piece, to upload it to the networks for the day of the musician. So this time I upload it again to show you. A big hug, enjoy it and I hope to see you in the next post!

Thanks for sharing this @gregorior! Extraordinary technique. I am especially impressed by your left hand string transfers in this video. Being able to do that with such ease, and deliberately changing the timbre of the tonal quality from one split second to the next, while still maintaining focus on the passion of the music is really impressive.

Thank you very much dear and appreciated Johan, thank you for your words always! I think that one way to show some agility is to enjoy what is interpreted. If we don't like the piece we play, it's hard to have it. You should know that much more than me, and that is why it is a pleasure to always have you visit in my post!
