How to convert YouTube to Spotify on iOS and Android
There is a very easy way to listen to music and playlists from YouTube, while working with other applications on your phone - whether in iOS or Android.
The most logical solution would be to turn off the screen to hide your secret passion. However, this means automatic stop on YouTube.
If you are in Mexico, New Zealand, Australia or the United States - you're lucky. These are currently the only countries in which you can use YouTube Red, paid service by Google, which combines content from the video platform and Play Music.
In addition to no ads while watching videos, YouTube Red has one important advantage - the sound does not stop when you minimize the application or turn off the screen of your smartphone.
The good news is that there is a very easy way to listen to music and playlists from YouTube, while working with other apps on your phone - whether in iOS or Android.
How to convert YouTube to Spotify in iOS:
It turns out that it's very easy and no need to download additional applications.
First Option iOS - Safari ( Chrome, Firefox )
- Open Youtube.com in Safari. Log in to your account if you want to access your saved playlists and videos.
- Start the video you want and press the Home button.
- Audio signal will stop, but you can start it very easily - just pick up the menu Control Center from the bottom of the screen, press Play and you're good to go.
Second Option iOS - Opera Mini
- The same steps as Safari
- Press the home button. Music will stop
- Open Control Center
- Press Play and music will start
With Opera Mini you have forward and back buttons on the side of the Play button. You cannot switch songs with them, but if you press and hold you can fast forward or backwards the song.
Unlike devices under Android, iPhone and iPad allow you to start and stop music from YouTube in Control Center, while using other applications or even the lock screen. The only drawback is that you cannot skip tracks while listening to a playlist ( only fast forward or backwards with Opera Mini on iOS).
How to convert YouTube to Spotify in Android:
The solution is also simple:
- Download and install Firefox from the Play Store.
- Then simply go to youtube.com in Firefox, start a song and minimize the application.
That's all you have to do - the music will continue playing whether you're working in another app, on or off screen. The downside is that you cannot start and stop the sound remotely. But if you listen to previously saved playlist, YouTube will automatically transfer to the next clip, which is quite convenient.
You can just convert your YouTube playlist into Spotify playlist.
I think is easier than what you offer.
