Lil Peep is dead

a rising name for rap and YouTube star, has died at age 21, his UK representative told The Guardian newspaper.
The musician, whose real name is Gustav Åhr, was taken to hospital after suffering an overdose, according to businessman Adam Grandmaison. In a video posted hours before his death, he says he has taken prescription drugs. "I'm fine, I'm not sick," he says.
Peep gained fame this year with his hip-hop mixed with elements of emo, punk and trap. His songs, highly emotional, talk, among other topics, about depression and drug use.
The singer was described by the American musical publication Pitchfork as "the future of emo". His debut album, "Come on when you're sober (part one)," was released in September.
Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy recalled finding Peep last week. Speaking about the musician's death, he urged people to talk about mental health "more openly." "We have to help each other, we all have fights, none of this is easy."
