The title of the song is OVBIOHUAN OSA means LAMB OF GOD in English. It's a liturgical song of the Catholic Church in Bini language, in which the choir leads the congregation in asking for mercy and peace from Christ, the Lamb that was slain. The Benin tribe of Nigeria is a very interesting one as regards their music, which mostly has minor moods, also their clothing and it's probably the only tribe in the country with most of its acient values lasting till date and is not being affected by civilization (we'll visit the tribe later to know more).
The song was composed by Myself and 2 others, whom I would talk about later. It was composed for a festival, FORUM FOR THE INCULTURATION OF LITURGICAL MUSIC (FILM) FESTIVAL, organized and held in Nigeria for the Catholic choirs in Nigerian higher institutions (I would throw more light on this festival in due time).
It was song by "The Great" St Albert choir of the University of Benin (Most of the songs I'll post will be sung by this choir) and it came 1st in it's category alongside another song which was uploaded in the first post.
Cheers!!
