What's kpop?
I'm a huge fan of kpop from more than a year,
but
what's kpop?
Simply, South Korean pop has its own name which is kpop, this because it's really famous in the whole world and it's different from the British pop we all know about.
Quite always every song has its own choreography and every second is well choreographed, melodies and music is very different from pop and there are various genres.
Often, there are groups who sing and dance (and sometimes they act too) together, it's interesting how different a group is to another.
For example:
The name of this girlband is "Twice" and their concept is "candies, sweets, pink, hearts..."
This is their last song called "what is love", it can help understanding better their concept.
()
This is Blackpink and their concept is more pop.
This is their debut song called "as if it's your last", listening also to "whistle" will help you creating a complete idea of their concept.
They are Hellovenus and they usually use an edm and sexy concept.
The song name is "I'm ill", it represents them but I prefer a song named "wiggle wiggle" that I decided not to share here...
I only showed you some of the most famous girlbands and there is a huge difference between them.
There are also tons of other girlbands and boybands with their own style.
The most famous kpop group is a boyband named "BTS" and they recently won the billboard music award (social artist) for the second time in a row. They also went to the Ellen show twice.
Their phenomenon grows up every day and they made kpop famous, I will make another post about them.
This is "Mic Drop" and I really like it, this is the remix by Steve Aoki. This song is from the album "Love yourself: her"
But remember, kpop is not only BTS!! There are tons of bands who work hard every day to raise their dream and they deserve appreciation too!!
Sometimes is like people don't understand this simple thing and they keep listening only to bts and watching only their videos as they're the only working hard.
