A Story of Glory

I wrote this song, A Story of Glory, in the 80s.
I was living in a mansard in La Maddalena, Sardinia – Italy, and I had a girl friend who inspired this song.
After a long time as a single, I thought for the first time how would it be to live together with a woman, maybe having children and so on.
When they ask me what kind of song is this, I use to answer 'A simple love story', and that's enough to describe it.
The song came out as a very particular one. All the friends who heard it told me it would be a great success if people could listen to it.
It could be, maybe, but in the 80s, not now when the world music crisis is enormous.
For specialists, there is a long chord progression that does not exist in any other song, and in the refrain there is another 'never heard' chord progression that end with an optimistic G major.
Only in 2011 I decided to make an album. I had moved to Rome and I had written the song 'Smell', the 'famous' one I told about in another blog page in my Steemit blog.
Having finished 'Smell' I decided to put it in my album as the first song. But which would be the best to appear as the second? Surely this.
In fact, 'Smell' is quite a bit a rock song, and this is very melodic.
I named my first album 'Spaghetti English', and it went on world distribution in 2011.
