Tomorrowland! The Best Festival Ever!!!!
Tomorrowland is an electronic dance music festival held in the town of Boom (Belgium). The festival organized by IDT and Entertainment and Media Enterprise. The first edition of the festival was held on August 14, 2005. It is estimated that once again they attend more than 5,400,000 people from almost 200 different nationalities. The festival has a place in the city of Boom, 16 kilometers south of Antwerp, 32 kilometers north of Brussels. Currently, Tomorrowland is one of the most important music festivals in the world.
The stages are surrounded by a decoration that simulates a fairy tale. The festival itself offers a variety of subgenres within electronic music. Likewise, it consists of a campsite on the outskirts of the festival site, called DreamVille, for those who wish to stay as close as possible. DreamVille offers different comforts, whether it is a place to put your own tent or a mansion for a certain number of people. Added to this, the entrance to the DreamVille offers to attend The Gathering, a pre-party to the festival held from noon on Thursday until after midnight and which usually includes the participation of DJs included in the line-up of the weekend .

How to get to Tomorrowland
From Spain, you have several options to get to the city of Boom, in Belgium, home of the Tomorrowland Festival.
Arrive in Tomorrowland by plane
Belgium has 5 airports. From Spain you can fly to all of them from different cities. The best connected with our country are: the Brussels-Zaventem airport or the Brussels-South airport. The first plane arrives from most Spanish cities, but it is more expensive. The airport of Brussels-South (CLR) also has a very good connection with Spain and also operate low-cost companies, with which the ticket can leave on average for about 120 euros.
At the Liége airport there is only one company that operates flights with Spain and connects with Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca, Alicante and Malaga. At the Maastricht airport, Ryanair operates with Alicante, Palma de Mallorca, Girona, Malaga and Tenerife Sur. And finally the Ostend airport connects Brussels with Palma de Mallorca, Alicante, Malaga, Tenerife South and Gran Canaria.
Reach Tomorrowland by car
If you have time and mood another option is to travel to Belgium by car. It is not the most recommended option because, apart from the inconvenience of having to drive many hours, it can be more expensive than it seems.
If still, you decide for the car, you should know that there is space to park in the Festival, after paying, of course. The price is around 25 euros for the entire weekend. In the last edition tickets for parking could be purchased in advance through the Tomorrowland website.
Arrive in Brussels by bus
There is also this option. From Madrid you can take a bus that takes you to Antwerp, Brussels nord or Brussels midi. But we are talking about 22 hours of travel and more than € 200 round trip ticket. From Barcelona buses also leave a little cheaper (there is less distance) and the journey lasts 20 hours. Of course it's not the best way to get to Tomorrowland.
In summary, traveling to Tomorrowland by train from Barcelona and back will leave you for about 330 euros and, between transfers and changes of season, it will cost you about 9 or 10 hours.
Eat in Tomorrowland
To eat during the Tomorrowland Festival, you have several possibilities. If you are installed in the Dreamville, a very usual option is to bring food from home and spend the weekend feeding on sausage, precooked food and various snacks. It is an option.
Another option is to buy in the "supermarkets" that are in the same premises. At least in previous editions there were Lidl stands with meat, fish and other products that were sold at the same price you would find in the store and then heat or cook Tomorrowland workers for free. The food can not be entered in the concert area but at Dreamville you will not have any problems.
Since we are talking about buying it is very important that you know that within tomorrowland Tomorrowland's currency precinct is not paid with money, but with a special currency that you can exchange for your euros (or any currency) at the entrance or inside the premises. They are known as tokens and they go inside the Boozebag. It is a little bag that inside has the equivalent of 50 euros in coins (35 tokens) that you can use to pay for meals and drinks both in Tomorrowland and in Dreamville. You can also redeem your money for Tomorrowland money without having to exchange 50 euros. Still the Boozebag is limited edition and is accompanied by a map and includes some free beers. Usually the pack is bought for the memory. In previous editions you could order through the web and pick it up when you arrive.
As for prices, so that you can get an approximate idea taking into account the prices of previous editions: a € 2 beer, a € 4 burger, a € 2 panini ...
Tomorrowland merchandising, t-shirts, caps, etc. are paid in normal currency. In euros or in dollars or with a card. You should also know that at the festival site you will find many ATMs.
Another important detail in this section is that the bottles of drink will sell them without a cap. The reason is to avoid being thrown full during the concerts and may harm someone. The problem is that in this way you can not save them to fill them from any source. So, assistants from other editions of Tomorrowland recommend taking home plugs.
You may also spend money at the box office. You have the option of renting a ticket office to leave your valuables in case you do not want to leave them in the store. They cost about 10 euros but they give you back half when you deliver the key.
