So today's song is by a local band called Fokofpolisiekar.
This song is from an 6 track EP by the same name released back in 2005.
Originally rumoured to be an acoustic EP, this wasn't the case, however it is a lot more toned
down than their previous work usually of a more punk nature.

Fokofpolisiekar are known for their frantic live performances, even on their unplugged performances
the vocalist Francois van Coke, gets quite restless towards the end. This EP is of a similar nature
where it builds up towards the end.

As mentioned earlier, this is a local band, and the lyrics are in Afrikaans, I will however give a translation of it that is relatively close:
An average person,with average words in an average house, cultivating average dreams. A handful painkillers at the end of a day is the only thing that make us happy. Again and again a monologue in stereo. On a nice day, like today. From time to time I wonder, I do. The sun shines, at least it shines bright. A very regular spirit safe where I bolt myself in. This revival didn't last long as I fell out the backdoor. If you feel that you must, then you should. There's many of us why would anyone miss you?
