The inspiration behind the video - All The Boys is a visually classic take on the modern dating world. The song is about reliving the same relationships over and over again, down to the very name. Drawing on inspiration from Gone With The Wind and Marie Antoinette, director Cherokee Neas and I wanted to tap into a classic, very feminine aesthetic with pastels and soft textures, before shifting the color scheme and vibe to a creepier, Lynchian style, using this juxtaposition to really drive the point.Steemians, please let me know what you think!
This is an excellent video @pearlcharles! The song is catchy, the video content is original and well thought out. I love all the cut scenes and how it transitions to a dark theme towards the end. If you don't like this, you must have a screw loose or something!
