"Lose Yourself" was written by Eminem and was composed and produced by Eminem, Jeff Bass, one half of the production duo Bass Brothers, and Luis Resto. It's been a long time since I watched the movie 8 Mile and I can say that I liked both the movie and the album. The album wastes no time and my favorite song on the album is "Lose Yourself". Especially the last lyric of the song is inspiring: "You can do anything you set your mind to, man". Absolutely, as long as you want it and struggle, you will eventually do anything you set your mind to.

Also, the opening lines are genius and the song is inspirational and its aggressive themes are pretty good. In short, Eminem's rapping ability, the lyrics and production are truly amazing. "Lose Yourself" is one of Eminem's best songs and also one of the greatest hip hop songs of all time. Even though it was released 22 years ago, I still listen to it and hear it in some places, and it still remains one of the works that will never get old. It has also been covered by some artists, including Taylor Swift. Eminem has performed "Lose Yourself" at some award ceremonies, most recently at the 92nd Academy Awards on February 9, 2020, and at the Super Bowl LVI halftime show on February 13, 2022. It's amazing that "Lose Yourself" is still sung at award ceremonies.
