The art galleries in Gothenburg are waiting with seven new openings for the coming weekend. Gothenburg's Art Museum opens an exhibition with Albert Edelfelt, who was active in Finland at the end of the 19th century. The title of the exhibition is "Modern artistic life in Europe at the turn of the century". The opening of the exhibition will be at 14.00-14.15 with a speech by museum director Patrik Steorn. The exhibition has an increased entrance fee (SEK 100) which also applies on the opening day.
Gallery Anna H opens its second exhibition for the season now with paintings in oil and acrylic by Aja Eriksson. "Spring feelings in Susedalen and other landscapes" is the title of the exhibition.
Galleri PS in Haga opens an exhibition with paintings by Lotta Döbling on Saturday. She is educated at Konstfack and the Royal Academy of Arts in Stockholm, and lives and works in the capital.
Galleri Thomassen is pleased to present "Random Compass", an exhibition by Olle Schmidt and his fifth solo exhibition at the gallery, and Gallery KC is up to date with a new exhibition by Leif Robertsson, "Life, as it looks".
Gallery 20 in Kungsten is current with paintings by Katarina Elfast in oil and acrylic and finally Gallery Engleson which opens on Saturday with the artists AnnMari Löf and Merja Lundquist who will show paintings.
A little "P.S.", on Sunday there will be an artist talk at Galleri 54 between Sara Lännerström and Henrik Persson on the last day of the exhibition on October 23.

Konstgallerierna i Göteborg väntar med sju nya vernissager till den kommande helgen.
Göteborgs Konstmuseum öppnar en utställning med Albert Edelfelt som var verksam i Finland i slutet på 1800-talet. Titeln på utställningen är "Modernt konstnärsliv i sekelskiftets Europa". Invigningen av utställningen kommer att vara kl 14.00-14.15 med tal av museichef Patrik Steorn. Utställningen har förhöjd entréavgift (100 kr) som också gäller på vernissagedagen.
Galleri Anna H öppnars sin andra utställning för säsongen nu med målningar i olja och akryl av Aja Eriksson. "Vårkänslor i Susedalen och andra landskap" är titeln på utställningen.
Galleri PS i Haga öppnar på lördag en utställning med målningar av Lotta Döbling. Hon är utbildad vid Konstfack och Kungliga konsthögskolan i Stockholm, och bor och verkar i huvudstaden.

Tony Bennett Sings a String of Harold Arlen
Tony Bennett, actually Anthony Dominick Benedetto, born August 3, 1926 in Astoria, Queens, New York. His repertoire is impressive with 61 studio albums, 11 live albums, 33 compilation albums, three video albums and 83 singles.
A week after his 95th birthday (2021), he performed alongside Lady Gaga at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. It was Bennett's farewell performance.
