Usually learning something like this from zero would take me some time(maybe 1 week), it depends on many factors... This song though (and many dream theater songs) i have learned them over the time of being a fan, cant really say how much it took me because u dont remember LOL... Back in the day i bought original tab book transcriptions, nowadays i look for some free tabs on ultimateguitar, or even buy a digital download of the tab if really worth it...
