Young Signorino, a new phenomenon!
Do you know Young Signorino?
He's the trap phenomenon of the moment in Italy. Son of the social media, he immediately became a character, a mirror of his audience. His trash rap videos piss off, annoy, seem to be made specifically to generate haters, and yet, for this very reason, generate millions of views. We could say that Young Signorino, pseudonym of Paolo Caputo, originally from Cesena, has gone beyond flaming, becoming a bait, inspired by that technique of trolling that consists in using polite tones to argue something very controversial and provocative. This is the character you created, these are your songs and videos. His extravagant look, his tattooed inscriptions on the face, his lifestyle are all one with his eccentric and provocative artistic career.
He is just nineteen years old and is already the father of a two-year-old child, has been hospitalized several times in a psychiatric clinic and enjoys doing dissing with the most important rappers on the Italian scene. The themes lightly addressed in his pieces are drugs, women and moccasins, to define his philosophy as a lord, that is, a boy who dresses elegant but knows he comes from the street. He claims to be the Italian Marylin Manson and says that Satan is his true father. He was due to appear at his first live concert in Rome but at the last minute he didn't show up, sparking new controversy about him. With a character like Young Signorino you never understand when you joke or get serious, and perhaps no one better than him can interpret the sense (senseless) of our time. Waiting to see what other companies will reserve for us the most discussed trapper of the moment, we can listen to some of his hits on the net:
