It is a national first-class cultural relic of the People's Republic of China. In 1978, it was unearthed at the tomb of zeng houyi in the suburb of 155km northwest of wuhan city, hubei province. The full set of clocks weighs 5 tons, 65 clocks in total, and the eight sets of three floors are suspended in a cranky-shaped wooden structure bell. The largest bell is 152.3 centimeters high and weighs 203.6 kilograms. Its superb casting technology and good music performance have changed the history of world music. It is currently known as the world's largest, heaviest, music performance of the most intact bronze musical instrument. Zeng hou bianzhong (2013) deposited the museum of hubei province.
It is a master of the pre-qin period music culture in China, is also China's peak of the pre-qin bronze casting process, by scientific and technological development at home and abroad experts praise it as "reflects the Chinese pre-qin period encyclopedia" of the development level of science and technology. The full set of clocks, 65 pieces, is the best preserved and the most numerous. The full set of chimes range from five and a half to eight degrees. The biggest feature of this set of bells is that a clock can produce two different sounds, one in the middle and one in the middle, with a deep, deep voice.
