Dark Fortress to release New Album This Month
German black-metal band Dark Fortress has released three new songs off of their upcoming eighth studio album to be released on February 28th through Century Media Records.
Formed in 1994 and released their demo album "Rebirth of the Dark Age" in 1996, Dark Fortress was signed to Red Stream in 2001 with the release of their first self-produced studio album "Tales from Eternal Dusk". Founded by the members Azathoth, Asvargr, Njord and Seraph and later added Paymon as their keyboardist in early 1997.
The band is known for the songs; "Venereal Dawn" off of the album by the same name; "Hirudineans", "The Valley" and their current hit titled "Isa" from their up and coming album "Spectres from the Old World". The other two songs released so far for their new album are "The Spider in the Web" and Pulling at Threads".
