Dance Weekend - We are Back!

Hiya Steemians - in the last 2-3 weeks I posted more about my second passion of music called #RockClassics and was not actively pushing #DanceWeekend. Thanks for all the great DJs, producers and music addicts that posted to this #music tag in the meantime. Now I am back! Let us show the world that Steemians know how to party and dance. I can't wait until the communities finally start here aka Hivemind. I am pretty sure this will give the entire platform a boost once it started. Questions on details might be fired over to @roadscape who is driving this project I am waiting for a long time.

Dance does not only mean Techno

Just in advance let me tell you we want all Dance genres to be included for this and more partiers in the future. Check the end of the post for more thoughts. I am just playing and focusing a bit more on the electronic parts as this is what I am familiar with but count on you to feedback, comment and post other styles to Dance.

I am pretty confident the communities will help all of us to focus more on actual interests and will strengthen the community factor via intelligent usage of sub communities. But I stop talking and bothering you with things that are not here yet - let us get the Party Weekend started. I think nothing is better to kick-off a global party weekend with Daft Punk - followed by more global (electronic) dance music - hope you enjoy!

We have a great and still growing community of brilliant music addicts and especially professional DJs and Producers. If you did not visit the likes of @andyjaypowell @mikenero or @djpoertsch you will have missed a lot of original sweaty production work. These guys produce and create music and share it with you guys. True original work! I want to express again that these guys actually create Art even it is electronic and computer based a bit but it is a similar music instrument like like guitar, piano, drums, bass. You have to learn this to be successful and you are a creator - know some people doubt Techno is actually music. I adore these producing artists a lot as they create the perfect mix and sound carpets for dancing folks out there - CHAPEAU.

It does not hurt you to check Monday Trance, WednesdayHouse, RapThursday / Thursday Rap or Dance Weekend - maybe you even enjoy some of the music we play - some of us even produce Steemit Exclusive Songs.

The music community is quite cool here on steemit as you might have seen from all the talents that attend #openmic for example. On the more electronic side of music we have other enthusiasts here like @kevinwong @mammasitta or @qsounds that always show awesome sounds - @flipstar is worth to highlight for creating an awesome #Rap initiative! @youareyourowngod created the first real interactive mixing experience on Steemit! @rymlen I just discovered who is a Deep House expert. Sure we have many more I do not know yet - please let me know the ones I missed in the comments.

Why we need other Dance Music styles as well

To summarise and avoid confusion: As mention above already - not only sounds related to Techno, House, Trance, Eurotrash, Dancefloor Pop should be part of Dance Weekend - Hip Hop, Square Dance, Polka is what I would like to see as well here from you guys - even Flamenco, Salsa, Tango - we are open here - it does not only need to be electronic music. Let us create a great Music Community on Steemit!
