The aim is simple, to banish those Monday blues with an eclectic range of music chosen by Steemit friends both old and new.
Every Monday I intend to post a music video (and a few words explaining my choice) I invite you to join me by doing same in the comments section below. As the forum (hopefully) grows my aim is that we begin to inspire our fellow Steemians to broaden their musical horizons by listening to the music that inspires us. The only thing I ask is that (where possible) every song we listen to is played nice and loudly on headphones or speakers in order that we capture its true essence.
As more Steemians join this venture there is also going to be the possibility of being rewarded for our musical tastes via the amount of upvotes each song receives. That said please never feel awkward about posting a track, a guilty pleasure or even your own musical ventures. I have an extremely wide range of musical interests but also understand that music like beauty is very much in the eye of the beholder. As such I may play my chosen song, but who am I to define what constitutes good music.
Hope everyone has been keeping well? Sorry I haven't been around for the last couple of weeks .. had a few things I've been sorting out at this end, but now I'm back with a track that I think pretty much encapsulates this moment in time, strange days indeed! Also not entirely sure whether to post #musicmonday here on the new site or both .. decisions decisions. :D Anyway, this week I thought I'd go for a bit of a classic blast from the past, I hope you enjoy!

Hey my friend .. hope you have been well? I think people are split between here and the new hive site (have you been over there yet?) plus I haven't been around for the last couple of weeks. Love your choice this week, such a beautiful song .. I also love the Crosby, Still, Nash version .. plus the Mathews Southern Comfort version is great! But, her voice is hauntingly beautiful! Thank you for the music my friend .. a great choice this week! :)
Never even heard of it to be honest. Is it part of steemit?
The witnesses etc split from #steemit and started their own site .. long story! If you go to hive.blog you should be able to sign in with your steemit passwords..and you should have the same amount of hive as you do in steem. :)
Oh! I had not realised. Not sure if I will bother, the name is a bit of a put off, even if it is meant as a joke. Let me know if you are going to decant there full time though, as I only ever look at your work/music here.
