My first day on Steemit

I heard of steemit through a friend. He just described the site as a social media of connecting and sharing. As a fun-loving and a social guy, I found the site to perfectly resonate with my demeanor. He also told me another good thing about the site; that I could earn while having fun. Nothing could be better than this! Love it! Your advise to the new member please?
