Hi everyone .... The Creek Chub Bait Co. of Garrett, Ind made this lure and called it the "Dingbat". The lure is made of wood and has glass eyes. The tail hairs are real horse hair! Some of the Dingbat in special order colors can be very very valuable. I wonder what wood it is made from? Just thinking how long it would last if one used it regularly in the water. No chance of the fish getting away with those treble hooks.

hi....the wood used varies by the maker. Some makers used 'Cedar' wood. The Bagley lure line is made of Balsa wood! >> LOL, that's right, no fish getting away with these trebles ... thanks for your comments...
