As long as they are stuck in their own mind they cannot truly know us. We cannot and don't need to please everybody.
But ultimately we learn to place what we know about ourselves over what others think about us. The time will come that we meet like-minded people who handle things the same way we do.
It's not so easy.
Nowadays people try to make one justify everything..
