RE: Lessons from Mother Ayahuasca. Night 3: Kundalini and Mother Nature

Wow! This is a fascinating journey. I gotta say, it’s the first time I’ve ever heard of someone stepping out to knock out some asanas after a cup of Aya... 😆 ... pretty awesome!!

I’d be interested in finding out more about the ‘real’ yogic kundalini stuff, as what I’ve learned feels .... well, “not-quite-right” coming from the Taoist perspective... is there a part 4 coming?

At least with these brews, one didn't do anything to me (or many others there). I did feel something after 1 of the yagé on the last night, though. You should follow those youtube links of the two Chris's if you want to know more. I really like their Kundalini research. I don't know what the Taoist's believe, but I'd be interested in finding out if you drop me some links or make a post about it (tag me so I don't miss it).

Yes. Part 4 (the last night) is coming this week. I wanted to write it yesterday but then I got distracted by cleaning my bathroom and bingeing the first 3 eps of this season's Game of Thrones.

😆 just finished watching those 3 episodes too.... OMFGs!!! 😱😱😱😱

The alchemical tradition I’ve been learning (nei dan) has a concept of Dragon-Qì. There are techniques very similar to what I’ve learned from tantrayoga about sublimating the Qì up the body, but then it has to return back downwards. The principle is that practices lead to enlightenment, but then returning to mundane existence with enlightenment (influenced by boddhisattva ideas via Tibet and Mahayana Buddhism).

Maybe I’ll get to writing something about it some time 😉🙏🏽☯️
