Banana – A good source of vitamin, dietary fibre and minerals
There would be very few people in this world who don’t like eating banana. Everyone likes eating banana because it is tasty and loaded with vitamins, minerals and dietary fibre that make your body healthy.
I generally avoid eating banana because I am an asthmatic. Recently I have eaten a banana though, it didn’t worsen my asthma condition. I think if an asthmatic patient eats curd and banana occasionally, their condition will not get worsen. This is only my thinking based on my past experience. It may be wrong. So please, you always follow doctor’s suggestion.
What bananas offer for your good health?
Bananas provide you Vitamin B6 and Vitamin C that are very important to improve your body health. Vitamin B6 helps in removing waste products from liver and kidneys and improves your nervous system. Moreover, it helps in producing RBC and breaking down carbohydrates and fats that are further converted into energy.
Vitamin C improves your skin, body and bones by producing a protein called collagen and also plays a great role in preventing cell and tissue damage. It also generates a hormone called serotonin that improves brain health.
People suffering from high blood pressure can eat banana, because it is loaded with high potassium and low sodium. The combination is good enough to control your blood pressure.
Bananas are a good source of dietary fibre that you need to eat on a daily basis. It helps you make your bowel movement regular which is very necessary for a good health. People suffering from constipation are suggested to eat bananas to make their bowel movement smooth.
