A morning from another's perspective-pt2
The alarm clock sounded. I had to let go the warmth of the woolen blanket. I was in a mountain lodge at 1000 metres altitude. A hot coffee with the fireplace as company, is the best way to forget everyday struggles and get out in the mountain. Dawn, found me standing in front of a dark hell. A cold autumn forest stretching in front of my eyes. And I, with my heart beating as in love. . . staring at the endless beauty. Birds flying scared, they hit their wings on the branches of tall trees showing me that I am not alone. Rime has spread its white sheet on the fields beyond the abyss of the forest. Steps make noise by breaking the frozen ferns. Streams spread their waters as the sun melted the ice that drowned them all night. The forest becomes soaked, the frozen paths transform into an endless swamp. When you are in the heart of the forest you feel it's alive. . . wind pierces your body, you feel scared when the giants shake their branches. Nature shows its magic, you are not alone in the chaos. Noises suddenly stop. A thick fog veil wraps my body. My eyes see only shadows from the monsterous trees. I was left in the mercy of the weather. Moss from a nearby rock was there to show me the way. Moss always grow on the south side of the rock. I had found my way back.
Nature created a labyrinth for me, but also helped me find the exit. I had to pay the price of walking inside the chaos of paradise, but even this was a beautiful touch in today's morning.
