The 'BLACK MADRAS' is New Rice Type
Friends steemit everything, this post I raised about one type of rice that is very rare we find the new type of seeds of seed that is Black Madras.
BLACK MADRAS rice variety varieties are still unfamiliar to #Aceh farmers, as most farmers from Aceh in particular, only cultivate the rice that we normally consume.
Right in the year 2017, is a new phase for the development of new varieties of rice varieties (Black Madras), this rice development I found in one village that is Gunci Village, Sawang District, North Aceh Regency, #Aceh Province.
The advantages of this variety is the exotic value of a striking color that is blackish purple so it is interesting to look at.
In general, the type of rice is held into three (Non Ketan) ie.
√ WHITE RICE. Rice types of white rice are very commonly grown by some farmers in the world including our farmers in #Aceh and Indonesia.
√ RED RICE. This type of rice we have seen in the market-although the amount is still limited.
√ BLACK RICE. This type of hazard is rarely known by the public, because this type of black rice rice is only planted in certain regions only.
In fact, black rice has many advantages that are rich in fiber and low Glycemic Index.
Eating foods in the form of low black rice Glycemic index is very good because it will slow down the feeling of satiety, but it is also able to maintain the stability of blood sugar levels so good in consumption by diabetas sufferers.
But in general, black rice is also a weakness when cultivation, among others, the age of harvest reaches five months, the shape of the plant is high, low productivity and others. Therefore, the price of black rice is expensive due to the supply of small goods.
