If I offered you a million dollars to photograph just one dozen or more insect types, would you try then?
It has to be in the same location, same town at least, and it has to be current. In order to verify that it is today's date or later, you would need to have a local newspaper showing todays date in each of the pictures with the insects.
@earthlink – I really can’t sleep when people post things like that. I’ve got some pics here of some insects, all with “@earthlink dozen insect challenge STEEMIT 8-7-16 @papa-pepper” written on the page in the background. I ran around in the middle of the night (it’s now 2:12am) just to get these pics. Not sure if you’re running a real contest, but here you go. Oh yeah, now my internet is down, I’ll have to reply in the morning. If you were actually just looking for some quality new pictures of insects, check out my blog, I’ve been posting them..
As I said, I wasn't sure what you were up to, so I ran around with a sheet of paper for PROOF and a flashlight at 2am, This proves that I can find insects. If you want some better pictures, check out THIS post first, and then contact me. I can take you some brand new, quality ones.
Thank you for this, I saw and upvoted your post.
So, now down to business:
You can't sleep at night??? In my little pristine village in rural Ontario Canada I spent the entire spring summer and fall of 2009 drinking every.single.day just so I COULD sleep. 2009 it was SILENT at night. All my life I slept with the orchestra of sounds every night when it wasn't winter, and when it didn't return one spring ... it really upset me.
We saw this coming, it was a slow walk into it, and, this has been a long time coming. In 1970 we knew that we had to stop burning gasoline and diesel. In 2010 I wrote this:

The last 2 paragraphs of this article have a July 2016 update, and explain why there are still insects here and there. It is the nature of Dead Zones.
In 2013 I slept at an event I had been going to regularly for years called "The Big Gig" which was in a remote part of Vermont USA and I and Christa slept outside, on the stage, with no mosquito netting or tent or anything. Normally at the event, the first long weekend in August, it was a feeding frenzy for the insects and I'd return home with all kinds of bite marks and eggs from all sorts of critters in my skin.
The thing is, I should be able to find a dozen Butterfly types alone here. There used to be tons of different types of Moths. I have not seen Horseflies since ... 2007? Deerflies are absent and so are most everything else.
If you have a dozen, you are in a part of the Northern Hemisphere that has been spared: this is not true everywhere, or even anywhere, else.
That surprises me. Everywhere I've ever been I've always seen lots of creatures. I'm seriously sad to hear that. So, do you actually want some quality pictures of a variety of insects, because I can do that too.
Well, Einstein said that when the Bee's go Humanity would only have 4 years left. He also said that it is a mistake for us to share our world with devices that, like me, consume oxygen.
This has been a long time coming.
And no, no I don't want you to take any more pictures of any more insects, that will not help us, I want you to build a "dynamo with a self exciter" (look that up) and put an anode and a cathode into water and start producing oxygen like there is no tomorrow. That will help us. Encourage the use of electric cars, that will help, and everywhere you see internal combustion engines being used they should all be electric. At the turn of the century 1900 all of our cars and trucks were electric.
sweet butterflies!
It sounds too good to be true, so I'm not doing it.
I would try anything for a million dollars! But its not possible to get it in the paper same day! Usually takes at least 2 or 3 days for printing!
@earthlink are you actually offering one million dollars?
I upvote U
