The world is in the midst of an extraordinary global plague. Covid-19 has attacked almost all countries in the world including Indonesia. This contagious epidemic is a nightmare for the world community and has an impact on various sectors. Countries that have a high escalation of cases against this outbreak have implemented various policies to break the chain of transmission of this outbreak. One of the policies taken was to limit mass interaction.

In the midst of this terrible outbreak, there is a positive impact on the world's climate. When this epidemic strikes, human activities decrease drastically and the quality of the earth becomes better. Medio March 2020 BBC reports that world air quality has started to improve. This is due to the drastically reduced intensity of motor vehicle operations and a number of factories.

This makes the earth seem to heal itself again after being polluted by pollution and carbon emissions. Jakarta's air quality has even improved. Even though mid-2019, Jakarta is worried about a very high level of pollution that is even unhealthy.

Covid-19 is a global pandemic that affects almost all corners of the earth. Everyone in the world is feeling the impact of this pandemic. But in other ways we can see new hope after this epidemic ends, which is to create a healthier earth. Or at least defend what the earth has healed right now. Can it happen? Of course it is possible with mature ideas and concepts.

Work from Home

The Work From Home or WFH rules have a tremendous impact on the health of the earth. This rule has made people do not do many activities outside the home, which means not starting motorized vehicles. This makes air quality better. However, WFH cannot be applied by everyone. There are some jobs that cannot be done simply by monitoring at the computer. However, in big cities, the majority of work can be done from home.

This is a simulation of an environmentally friendly way of working that we have implemented. WFH is the easiest solution and the most sensible solution to save the earth in the long term. Of course this is not impossible to do because internet-based office work can be done anywhere, including at home.

After this pandemic ends, Jakarta, which is an area with a high population, must start thinking about the long-term WFH concept so that the earth or the Jakarta area itself remains well maintained. For example, the concept of WFH is still being adopted by some groups so that human mobilization to Jakarta can be reduced. With current technology this is possible because meetings can be held virtually and work can be discussed via chat applications.

With the advancement of technological systems and changing people's habits, the concept of working remotely is very possible. This can greatly reduce carbon gas emissions from the vehicle. For example, all offices in Jabodetabek implement a reform of rules such as 'If work can be done at home there is no need to come to the office' this will reduce the number of vehicles passing on the roads and this is a new direction for the Indonesian economy and a new direction for environmental health. Indonesia.

This also applies to schools. For example, what usually school is Monday to Friday can be reduced to Monday to Wednesday. On the other hand, on Thursday and Friday, online classes can be done without having to leave the house. This needs a deeper study, but now we have done the simulation and it's not bad right?
