Some of the natural wonders which makes Venezuela unique
Good evening dear community of steemit tonight I present one of the most impressive wonders of Venezuela maybe not the most impressive for many but I am very proud of my country although it is going through a critical situation in its economic activity unfortunately the government does not care but it is my country and I thank God that I was born here
Pico Bolívar
It is the highest mountain in Venezuela and the only place left with perpetual snow. In 1952 it had almost 2 km of glaciers. Today, there are only two very small, which count as the "snow" of the song
Los Roques Archipelago
Los Roques National Park is a Venezuelan archipelago located in the Caribbean Sea, about 160 kilometers north of the capital, Caracas. This area is protected and consists of more than 300 islands and cays around a lagoon of 400 square kilometers. Its coral reef is very popular among lovers of diving and snorkeling. This park is famous for its secluded white sand beaches and windsurfing, fishing and sailing activities.
Gran Roque is the only island in the park with inhabitants throughout the year. You can make day trips with small planes that depart from Caracas and there are several inns with everything included. To the west are hills with views of the lagoon and the islands. Visitors can go by boat to the uninhabited cays. Many sailors and windsurfers flock to this area because of the trade winds and the calm of the lagoon. You can practice fishing both in the shallows (where there are maracabijos) and in the deep sea (where the dorados, the needles and the tuna fish are found). In Dos Mosquises there is a turtle research and protection center.
