Woody: surround by the giants
Hello there....
walked through one of my favourite woods today found within the city in London. It’s not a huge piece of land but it still makes a good walk through of adventure, so many nooks and crannies to explore.
The way the barks bends and twists for some reason just reminded me of that take “little red riding hood”. I love the colouring and the ageing wrinkles on this, so much history with every turn, so much has been seen by it..but nothing spoken. Silence and loyalty are key to us woodens!
Walking through, I saw something that broke my heart ❣ an ancestor, a giant that was on its way to falling. I mean that could have been me!! Well It was me before I became me!! . I often wonder what species of tree I was and where I stood..my making is a mystery and solving it is just too much, I just get on with it rather than uncovering a web of problems.
Neways It was just tragic to see this majestic thing about to crash and meet death, all helpless unable to stand tall once again with pride...Year’s of service and it was just about to let go .

Despite going to the gym and working on my quads, the weight of this beast was just too much, I tried pushing it back to its former state but alas ..I just couldn’t manage it. I hope that the trunk gets used for something useful and it just doesn’t lay there to rot! Mind you it may be good for the soil eh.
I just like to be mindful of all my resources abs w sure nothing is gone to waste, something super satisfying of using and item till the death of it, if it doesn’t work try fixing it- the feeling of self achievement is like YEEEEAAAH I fixed that bad boy!!! I’m a muhfckn badass!!!! Come at me world!!
The woods are a great place to be, the smell of the soil, the feeling of the crunchy leaves 🍁, the smell of the multiple species of trees found around..your senses come to life. Ah it’s like you’re in a whole new world away from the immense pollution and hustle of city life (which btw I friggin love) but now and then it’s great to disconnect and step into another reality!
