Blue Heron by the Gulf of Mexico

Hi all, this image is from 2010 I believe. My older camera. I noticed this Great Blue Heron while boating on the edge of the Gulf of Mexico. The sparkles on the water were quite bright, reminded me of a million diamonds. I did my best to capture them, they were far off.

The bird is standing on an old Mangrove tree, I couldn't help but wonder what it was thinking as it looked out over the shimmering waves.
