Australian Wildlife...Wallaby with Joey(baby) and Tauny Frogmouth Owl with young

in #nature7 years ago (edited)

Hey there guys I live in Australia and we have wildlife, lots of it!
These two come to visit early morning around 7am and graze on my front lawn. Believe it or not the baby lives in a pouch on the front of its mother.wallaby.jpgwallaby1.jpgwallaby4.jpgwallaby2.jpgwallaby3.jpg

One day when i was picking limes off my tree i noticed a little fluffy white ball, here is that ballfrogmouth.jpg
Turned out if was a baby frogmouth owl.frogmouth1.jpg
Here is mother or father a day later coming to collect their young.
Both parents and young stayed in our frontyard in trees for about a week then left.

If you guys like the animals and nature follow and comment.

Love it. All I usually see are deer where I live. Not that that's a bad thing I guess I've just seen so many deer now they aren't as exciting anymore!

i have actually never seen a deer in real life,i think they may farm them somewhere here though.
Man seeing a deer in my front yard would definitely be exciting hahah!

Those birds look so ugly they they get kind of cute. Thanks for sharing! Are these animals friendly or do they avoid humans?

Hahha yeah they are ugly little guys, that ugly there cute.
The wallabys are pretty tame, allow you to watch them but not get to close, especially when they have young

I see. And are they dangerous in any way?
