Wild Red Columbine in the Wind

Giuffrida Park - Meriden, Connecticut

Good day STEEM Friends! Hope you are enjoying the weekend and having a #BeautifulSunday. Yesterday I went on a hike through Giuffrida Park in Meriden, Connecticut. I wanted to get to a place called 'Chauncey Peak' which is a 689 ft traprock formation that provides a great view of the surrounding area. Along the way I stumbled across a patch of wild Red Columbine flowers. These are very interesting and beautiful. Here's a photo I took of one of the flowers blowing in the wind. Enjoy!
