Rose Desert combines tenderness and cruelty

Rose desert, is such a beautiful stone shaped like a rose produced by natural factors.usually it's found in dry and hot areasin Algerian desert, Naturally formed from the sand by the passage of solutions loaded with metal oxides, when the water evaporates, it leaves the oxides in the form of a flower.

Its color is the color of the oxides that make it up, the flower is characterized by the presence of oxides in the form of crystals give it a bright luster with the texture of sand. 

The flower Grow through several stages, usually formed at the upper level of groundwater through a series of interactions between minerals present in water, such as calcium and limestone granules in the sand, and with the evaporation of the water again forms calcium sulphate (Ca SO4, 2H2O)  what we call gypsum, 

It is slowly decomposed by oxidation factors to form a powder. In its interaction with water, the so-called calcium carbonate sulfate crystallizes in turn to give forms such as petals of flowers that are intertwined with each other at different angles, giving it a Rose shape. 

This flower formed with different sizes, the largest one is up to one meter, and takes a beautiful crystal shape with beautiful sand color, or brown color  mostly.

It is not like other roses and is one of the most important features of the desert of Algeria, thats why thousands of foreign tourists visit Algerian desert each year.  

All Toursists who visit Algeria take it with them as a memory, because it is simply part of the perfect beauty, and because it is also a masterpiece that is not destroyed by time and does not change its form or components, Nature combines cruelty and tenderness to make this splendid Rose that blends both qualities.
