in #nature7 years ago (edited)

Hi steemains ... I’m done for the semester which gives me plenty of time to go places and bring them to you . I hope you all enjoy it .I just finished an exam.Well, It was the last exam For the semester and It was good. I was so tired I needed to cool off exam stress I apparently don’t know how It happened but I found myself In zootopia. Location ( Aghmashenebeli Tbilisi) the ticket fee Is 7 Laris a person and it basically didn’t have all the animals . In Georgia Tbilisi ,there used to be a big zoo with all of the animals but on June 14,2015 there was a flood which wiped the animals away it also took lives well, 20 deaths were confirmed but maybe more died. May their soul rest in peace .I would be sharing with us the animals I saw and a little bit of info I learnt about them at the mini zoo

Tortoise

we started from the tortoise a group of these little creatures is called “creep”and research has explained that the mother tortoise cares only about her nest and doesn’t care about her babies when they hatch lol. They’re protected by their shell from predators or outsiders and are the longest living land animals In the world ( Amazing I think tortoise pets outlive their owners that’s so sad their longest age Is between 150 years to 255 years. They eat kale, dandelions and collard greens D45F9A47-95B1-4274-AB7E-3DBA717802B3.jpeg

Also known as pythonoidia among its members are some of the largest snakes in the world. Eight genera and 31 species they live as long as 30 years and feed majorly on big animals such as caiman, monkeys, antelopes . The larger the meal, the longer it takes to digest . So apparently it means a phyton eats only 4-5 times a year. 7096469A-C662-482C-91FA-99A33536E45C.jpeg

Koi fish (orange) {the legend of the koi fish}

750C0F92-1FD4-4D29-9670-FF8C46F03EAE.jpegthere was once a giant school made up of thousands of koi fish swimming up the River in China. As the fishes swam, they gained strength by pushing against the current. However, on the River there is a waterfall. Once the fish reached the waterfall they turned back because the current is too high.The fish who didn’t turn back continued to try to reach the top of the waterfall. The fishes kept trying for about a hundred years or more. At last, one fish finally swam to the top of the waterfall. To reward the fish the Chinese gods turned it into a beautiful golden dragon.
The falls have become known as the Dragon's GateAnd legend has it that once a fish completes the journey to the Dragon's Gate will become a heavenly dragon(lol let’s hope all of the fishes haven’t been caught )also that if a koi fish is caught it awaits the cut of the knife with the bravery of a Chinese warrior facing the sword in battle.A red or orange koi is a symbol for the mother of the family. Koi fish eat just about anything, from small bugs and insects, to plants and algae at the bottom of the fish pond .They love cereal, lettuce, shrimp, rice, peas, watermelon
