RE: A NEW GENERATION

in #nature6 years ago

We have a little schnoodle who is tormented by crows and a mangy-looking Tomcat that prowls the fence tops between our house and the neighbors (who has huge dogs) tormenting all three animals. I don’t believe the crows are trying to torment our dog – he just can’t stand it when they’re in the trees across the fence behind our yard. But, that cat… that cat is an evil-minded feline.

Don’t get me wrong. I love cats. This one is just a nuisance. It gets into our garage if we leave the door up for any length of time. It comes up on my front porch and gets on top of the table next to the rocker where I like to have my lunch on a nice day. It climbs the neighborhood trees tearing out birds’ nests. And, it spits and growls like a mad thing if it’s in my yard and I step out on my porch – it's even made a dash at my son and his friends when they were in the front yard flying his quadcopter.

My goodness your poor doggie. It amazes me how awful cats can be. I have one and she is adorable and loving, but my grandmother had had a few bad experiences with a cat that would attack her and rip her skin open, whenever she passed by. Needless to say, the cat was soon sent off to a rescue centre.

Cats are inscrutable and make the world take them on their terms.
