We need natural solutions to fight ocean and climate risk

At the same time, we must invest in nature. Specifically, to reduce ocean risk, we need to massively increase investment in nature-based solutions like protecting and restoring coral reefs, mangroves and coastal wetlands – call it green/blue infrastructure.

Interesting article about what needs to be done to help save the environment and the animals that live in it. Coastal wetlands are the dearest to my heart, but I'm all for investing wisely to help protect all of nature. I know that in South Louisiana the simplest thing to do is to put in more fresh water diversions along the Mississippi River, the way nature had it before man screwed it up with the levees. That alone would restore so much wetlands!
