You never know what happens during a night walk
Man weiß nie was bei einem Nachtspaziergang passieren wird
| Today I made another night walk on a meadow in lower Austria. It seems that this really hot summer days benefit the reproduction of many arthropods, at least I see more and more of them. Unfortunately ticks also seem to benefit from this weather. In fact, I had to stop my night walk after about 20 minutes, because there were at least 15 ticks crawling on my feet. Luckily I already had quite a few interesting shots :) | Heute habe ich einen weiteren Nachtspaziergang auf einer Wiese in Niederösterreich gemacht. Es scheint als ob diese heißen Sommertage, der Reproduktion einiger Gliederfüßer zu gute kommt oder zumindest sehe ich immer mehr. Leider dürften auch Zecken von diesem Wetter profitieren. Ich habe meinen Nachtspaziergang tatsächlich nach ca. 20 Minuten abbrechen müssen, weil mindestens 15 Zecken auf meinen Füßen gekrabbelt sind. Zum Glück hatte ich schon ein paar interessante Aufnahmen :) |
wow.., wieder sehr flashige Bilder, sehr geil..., überhaupt die spinnenbilder sind für mich superaufregden..., die eine, die sich so von hinten anschleicht :P halb verdeckt..., hui
wobei, glühwürmchen ist auch cool!

Yikes! I have a fear of ticks and Lyme Disease! You got the coolest night shots! Oh, my!! I have never seen a glow worm!

yeah my too, but I already had lyme disease and luckily I haven't had any problems with it. I am more afraid of tick-borne encephalitis...
Oh, gosh!! Yes! My cousin has Lyme and he is so debilitated that he is in bed for days sometimes... He contracted it when he was 12. I had no idea they were that dangerous until then.
