Do you know?
There are many common things happen to a person but we do not know the reason behind those natural phenomena.
Let me tell you 4 real common things and scientific reason behind them!
i/ Why do honey bees die after stinking us?
At some point of time you or your closed ones might have got a sting from a bee and you know that it dies after that, but you know why- Actually when they sense a person as threat to their queen or hive, they sting them , they are little soldiers i must say. anyways the stinger( a needle like body part which stings) of the bee is little thick it can get in and out of thin skin easily but usually human have thick skin layer so it can not get out of the skin so the bee tries too hard that it breaks up its body into half and ultimately die.
ii/ Why do you have scars after a wound?
During the process of healing the wound, our body produces collagen which is thread like structure and are woven like a basket to each other and are already present in the skin. but to heal the wound they are produced but are naturally cross linked and aligned in a linear fashion which tends to break the natural basket woven style thus the skin appears different from normal skin which is called scar.
iii/ Why do we swing our arm which walking?
Have you noticed, that you swing your arms while walking , why don't we keep our arm straight down while moving? It is because the swing of arm balances our body's rotational motion. like when we keep one leg forward then the pelvis twists or rotates sidewards then the forward swing of the opposite hand counter balances the motion thus keeping the body straight. it is not muscle driven but a natural pendulum thing. it even saves energy than moving with straight hand downwards.
iv/ Why do we have wrinkles on skin after soaked in water for long?
I guess everyone must have experienced this but do you know why does it happen? it happens because the brain causes blood vessels present in our depper layers of skin to constrain and thus the skin layers get shrink leaving the topmost layer of the skin as it is then without any support the topmost layer becomes loose and ultimately forms folds or wrinkles. you know what these wrinkly skin helps to attain better grip in water. how cool, isn't it?
Wow! I didn't knew these facts. these are fun.
