Oregon Wildflowers (Wild Hyacinth/Triteleia hyacinthina)
I found this flower (Triteleia hyacinthina) growing in a small clearing in a coniferous forest in Oregon. They grow along the western coast of North America and flower in the spring [1].
These flowers grow from corms(bulb-like structures) like the Dichelostemma from my previous post. The corms of this flower were also eaten by groups of native peoples from California in the past [2].
