Here are some pictures of humpback whales.  These photos were taken off the coast of Maine.

Adult humpback whales range in length from 12-16 m and weigh 36,000 kilograms!  They can travel 25,000 km per year.  They eat mostly krill and small fish.

    My favorite animal encounters to date was seeing humpback whales breaching and jumping outside of Juneau, Alaska. Thanks for sharing these photos! :)
