The Most Realistic Store Display I’ve Ever Seen

I took this photo at the entrance to Bass Pro Shop near Toronto. For those wo don’t know, it is a fishing and outdoor store. They have displays of live fish and waterfalls with stuffed wildlife. It is sinilar to the diaramas found at nature museums.

There were many children at the store who at first glance seemed to think that the stuffed wildlife were still alive. There was a huge bear that was standing upright as well as a wolf and the beaver pictured above.

Displays such as this can teach children about the outdoors, especially since many children in big cities don’t often get to see the beauty of the forest up close.

I am sure this artful display was expensive to install, but it seems like money well spent. It really draws people into the store, and invusiness that is the name of the game.
