Seeds of ficus

Seeds are planted in a deciduous mixture with the addition of river sand, loosely covered with glass or polyethylene. The mixture must be moistened. After emergence of sprouts, it is necessary to make a picking in the soil of the same composition. Adult plants should be transplanted into small pots of diameters no more than 7-8 cm.

The stalk should be placed in wet sand or a jar of water in a well-lit place. As soon as the rootlets appear, the cuttings are planted in a pot under a film or jar to create a thermal effect.

Layers
This method of reproduction is applied from May to September. On the trunk from top to bottom, just below the sheet, an incision of about 5 mm should be made. Insert into the incision a match moistened with hormonal solution for propagation. Place a damp moss overlay, top with a film.
