Sounds awesome! But I imagine that in Austria it is easy to fund such nature just about anywhere you go!

yes, the climate is good -a bit boring in winter, but come spring, right to late fall, there are many changing vistas- Even some tropical plants survive the winter in Vienna.
This is Fall, 2017 and 2019 in the album, University of Vienna: https://www.flickr.com/photos/artofthemystic/albums/72157661303296258

Wow! That looks so much like the garden here. Gorgeous! That picture of the dead hornet/wasp looks interesting. What is it lying on, exactly? I can't quite tell what I'm looking at.

Hi Rick, wow, you rifled through the entire album - I had to have a look to see what you meant - found it, this one here:

It is the center of a cactus, and when I took it, I never even realized that wasp was in there!
This type of cactus is seen in the bottom left of this photo:

Ha, I just realized, you have the same type of cactus in your post - it is a Golden Barrel Cactus!

Ah! Yeah I thought it was some kind of cactus, but all the stones were throwing me off. also the consistency looks strange to me, like sticky oatmeal or something. The variety of plants on Earth is amazing to me...

Thanks for the zoom tip, I'll have another look around!
