But the UK is beautiful in the summer! It is just a matter of noticing what is around you. You have the most amazing historical buildings. I could lose myself there for a long time. (But NOT permanently!!!)

Hahaha. It certainly is beautiful in summer. It's a good time of year for birdwatching. I grew up in East Africa though and I miss the tropics and african wildlife. UK wildlife can seem a bit tame once you have had leopards in your garden.

Hahaha!!! Yes! I can imagine. When I think of Europe though, I think of the seemingly endless layers of civilization, and all the weight and nuances of that history. I love Africa for it's rawness, and power. For me, Africa will always be the home of my heart.

That's true there is alot of history, I enjoy it but it doesn't give the deep feeling of happiness that wild places bring to me. I feel the same, Africa always calls me back.

I can understand that. :)
